Taping and Mudding to Finish Drywall Seams Should Be Relegated to the History Bin -Poorly done drywall seams become a thing of the past with SureWalls. Our middle seam profile insures a firm, airtight seam at every drywall joint.  In fact, once you install with the SureWalls system the wall joints and corners are complete (no taping and mudding). All that's left to do to achieve a high level finish are a couple finish skim coats and you're ready for paint. In our own testing using a standard pre-mixed joint compound, we were able to achieve a level 4 finish without the need for any sanding - level 5 being attainable only with further skim coating of the drywall surface, having nothing to do with the finishing of our profile seams. ​e to edit.

Unprecedented Sound Attenuation from SureWalls' Standard Installation -A primary benefit of SureWalls' system is the exceptionally good sound attenuation it delivers from our standard prescribed installation. Until the advent of the Surewalls system, achieving an STC score in excess of 50 was impossible without taking other expensive sound attenuation measures in the wall construction. SureWalls consistently delivers walls exceeding this STC standard without the added work and cost.

Sustainable and Environmentally Safer - SureWalls' vinyl profiles are  sustainable and safe, recyclable and Class A rated for flame spread and smoke. But perhaps the greatest environmental benefit of the SureWalls system will come from significant reductions in the airborne silica dust created on most drywall jobs due to excessive sanding of walls. With a SureWalls installation, there is almost no sanding of patched screw holes (because there are nearly none) and any meaningful sanding of joints could only result from the sloppiest use of joint compound.
