Our System
SureWalls is a patented system for installing drywall that consists of three main vinyl (rigid PVC) profiles (outside corner, middle seam and inside corner) designed to create faster, simpler and far more predictable drywall installation. Unlike the traditional "tape & mud" method, SureWalls' profiles attach directly to the framing so the drywall doesn't have to, creating a more resilient, stronger and much quieter wall. Installation is so simple, pretty much anyone can install like a pro, and pros can save a lot of time and effort.

The three profiles are designed to accommodate both 1/2" and 5/8" drywall and can be utilized in either a horizontal or vertical installation. The outside corner and inside corner profiles accept cut, butt-edges, while the middle seam was designed to only accept tapered edges, where two drywall panels meet on a single stud (in vertical configuration). The profiles are secured directly to a stud using #8, half-inch wafer head screws every 16 inches and hold the drywall panels firmly in place with NO SCREWS through the drywall perimeter.
Outside Corner
The outside corner profile, PerfeCorner™, screws to a corner stud through one or both of the extended back flaps. The drywall panels insert firmly in specially designed channels on both sides of the profile. The diamond shape corner is designed for superior impact absorption and requires no finishing. Notably, our corner is not "corner bead" to be finished by an installer - it is literally a prefabricated, finished corner. The installer simply applies joint compound from the "diamond" corner outward on the drywall panel starting from a striated flange face that begins in a slight drop-off from the corner's edge.
The result is a perfectly formed, perfectly straight edge with impact resistance rivaling the durability of applied corner guards. And, it finishes perfectly with just two thin coats of joint compound.
Perfect corners every time. |
Middle Seam
The middle seam profile joins two tapered drywall panels where they meet on a single stud(in vertical configuration). It is screwed to the stud and the drywall panels insert into the profile channels, designed to accept only tapered edges. The striated flange face of the profile sits in the valley formed where the tapered drywall edges meet and allows finishing to a perfectly flat surface with just two thin coats of joint compound.
Once installed, the profile creates an airtight seal between the two drywall panels and sits roughly 1mm below the plane of the drywall surface, making it an effortless seam to finish. It also eliminates the hidden mistakes that notoriously occur at this seam due to poor installation of screws at the drywall panel edges. No screws required with SureWalls.

Inside Corner
Our inside corner profile is designed to accommodate a typical inside corner configuration, utilizing an unfastened "slap" stud, and is integral to the superior sound attenuation of the SureWalls system. It also permits both sides of the corner to be skim-coated with joint compound simultaneously versus the standard method using tape or corner bead trim and finishing one side, waiting for it to dry, then returning to finish the opposite side.
It not only guarantees a perfectly straight line for the inside corner, rather than the wavy lines often seen in poorly performed work, but also delivers a structurally strong connection free of voids and gaps that often are hiding behind nothing more than flimsy paper tape.
